Ingredients

● Katafi
● Chocolate
● Tahini
● Protein Powder
● Pistachio Cream
● White chocolate

Tips

  • Use smaller chocolate molds that will make smaller individual servings (I’ve done this many times)
  • You can be creative with the design and use coloured chocolate melts instead of white.
  • Allow it to set fully before removing it from the molds.

Full Recipe

1. Melt the white chocolate and drizzle small amounts on the pockets of chocolate molds for design. This could be an optional step. Set aside.

2. In a small bowl, add the chocolate of your choice and melt in the microwave at 20-second increments until it is melted through.

3. Place 2 tablespoons of melted chocolate into each chocolate mold.

4. Using a spoon or silicone brush, spread them all over the bottom and side of the molds. Then place the mold in the fridge for the chocolate to set.

5. Meanwhile, start to make the pistachio filling. 

6. Place 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped kataifi to the pan.

7. Cook the kataifi for a few minutes while continuously mixing until golden brown. Then add the protein powder.

8. Turn the heat off and then add the pistachio butter.

9. Add in the tahini paste. If using. this step is optional if you do not have any. But I love it with it.

10. Mix everything together to combine.

11. Divide the pistachio filling mixture equally into the chocolate molds. Spread them out evenly.

12. Next, add another 2 tablespoons or more of chocolate to each one of the molds to cover the filling. Spread them out using a spoon or a silicone brush.

13. Allow it to set in the fridge for 20 minutes or in the freezer for 10 minutes. Remove from molds and  Enjoy!
